Anonymous asked: I haven't been to the gym in forever and I'm pretty sure I lost all my muscle x( I'm going to go back today but I'm not sure where to start, any ideas?
I’m pretty sure you haven’t lost all of your muscle, lol. But you could start anywhere! If you plan on targeting certain muscle groups at a time then start with your larger muscle groups earlier in the week and work your way down. Free weights are your friend. Dumbbells over 10lbs are your friends. SQUATS ARE YOUR FREINDS. I could help you more in detail if you message me off anon.
And make sure you’re eating healthy.
Don’t do that, do this:
- Don’t isolate, integrate.
- Don’t drink your calories, eat them.
- Don’t use the smith machine, use free weights.
- Don’t wear a weight belt, strengthen your core.
- Don’t do the same workout over and over, periodize.
(I feel that there are exceptions to some of these, but you get the general gist.)

The “calories in vs. calories out” thing is true, but…
1400 calories worth of healthy food will have a totally different impact on your body than 1400 calories of junk food.
Just saying.

It was that moment..
when I started saying lean instead of skinny,
when I started counting protein instead of calories,
when I rejoiced at the higher number on the scale,
when I lifted more than the man next to me,
when I asked “Is my ass bigger?” and wanted a different answer,
when I went went shopping…for supplements,
when I realized I was unstoppable.
